If you are a dog owner you probably agree with me that your dog is part of your family. My dog is officially considered a senior, hard to believe she has been in my life for so long (I guess I am officially old as well). She doesn't act like an old lady as she still has tons of energy and I often think of her as a puppy. But…her body cannot always keep up with her mind. While I know she wants to play all day and take hours long hikes, her joints are not able to keep up.
