My mother has been known as "the woo-woo doctor". This endearing nickname came from her love of, and mixology skills, using essential oils. I am obsessed with coconut oil and its infinite uses. I have been using coconut oil more and more in my diet and my beauty routine. I have always used Extra Virgin Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil…until now. I love using oils and they are the best moisturizer for me, especially in the cold, dry winter. My skin feels moisturized, instead of the dry, cracked skin that usually plagues me for 6 months out of the year. I also like to put a little, tiny bit in my hair. Not too much or it will be completely greasy looking. But I rub a bit between my hands and then run my fingers through my hair. It helps with static and gives my hair a glossy shine. 1) Spirulina Hummus
